What are the production and shipping times?

Each Milou & Milette piece is handmade in Provence.

• In-stock items: Available items are prepared and shipped within a few days.
• For a custom-made creation, the lead time is longer because it includes:
• ordering the yarn if necessary,
• making the item,
• shipping.

But it will also take into account current orders, as well as the model and size of the bag.

This lead time will be specified during our discussions when placing the custom order.

How does shipping work?

The creations are carefully packaged in a box to preserve their shape and quality during transport.

What if my package is delayed?

Once your order has been shipped, delivery times depend on the carrier and can sometimes vary. If your package seems delayed or if you encounter a delivery problem, we invite you to contact us via the Contact page or by email. We will do our best to assist you and find a solution as quickly as possible.

Are returns accepted?

In accordance with legislation, personalized or custom-made creations cannot be returned or refunded.

In-stock items can be returned within 14 days if they are in perfect condition.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Are the bags really handmade?

Yes, all creations are entirely crocheted by hand. Each piece requires several hours of work, which makes each Milou & Milette unique.

How do I care for my Milou & Milette?

It is imperative to clean Milou & Milette bags and accessories with a mild soap, by hand, and carefully avoid soaking the bag or rubbing it vigorously.

Also avoid washing machines and tumble dryers.

Gentle hand cleaning is recommended.

Can the bags and accessories be waterproofed?

Yes, it is possible to spray a textile waterproofing spray on Milou & Milette items.

This will protect them from rain, humidity, and stains.

Where are the creations made?

All Milou & Milette creations are made in Provence, in the south of France.

Can the bag lose its shape?

Crochet creations are made with a more or less flexible textile yarn. Like any handmade textile item, the Milou & Milette can slightly stretch with the weight of objects.

This is part of the natural behavior of crochet and does not alter the quality or strength of the creation.

To preserve its shape, it is recommended not to overload the bag and to store it flat when not in use.
